Tips for Successful Displays

  • Stock your display with product to make it look full but not cluttered.
  • Pick a booth size appropriate for the amount of product you will be selling. Make the most of your square footage.
  • Add height to your display with gridwall, furniture, and other shelving (i.e. hutches and bookcases).
  • Utilize floor space with baskets, boxes, and crates, but keep in mind that product at eye level tends to sell better.
  • Make sure everything is secure and safe. Don't stack boxes and product too high where customers have to reach.
  • Make your product easily accessible by not using your product to "decorate" your display. You want the customer to feel comfortable picking up your product.
  • If using a banquet table, make sure the table coverings are flush to the floor on all sides to cover excess inventory and personal items.
  • Make sure your product is well marked with pricing and vendor number.
  • Include logo and contact information at your booth and attached to product.
  • Be sure to make your product and packaging pleasing to the eye and updated from year to year to reflect current trends. No one wants to buy outdated products.
